My name is Dave Smith, a foreign exchange college student currently enrolled in the University of Nigeria.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed the heartbreak of families being separated due to conflict, migration, kidnapping, or displacement. Many Nigerians are suffering in silence, not knowing how to find their loved ones, reconnect or even find safe places to call home. The Nigerian is government is seriously lacking in ensuring the safety and security of its citizens, their economy is not helping the case either,. living expenses are currently outrageous here. Combine that with the ever growing rate of violence, kidnappings and corruption, its obvious just how much of a tragedy the welfare of the citizens is.

            Throughout my stay here, I’ve experienced first hand how discouraging and mentally exhausting life here can be. But despite that I’ve also seen up close how resilient the citizens are in finding ways to keep themselves happy and thriving. Its truly inspiring.

            The current Benue massacre is a prime example of just how bad situations are currently in the country. Its left many families devastated and displaced in the state.

That’s why I’m starting an agency focused on reuniting lost family members, sending relief materials  and restoring emotional healing — using technology, community outreach, and prayer.

But I need your help to bring this mission to life.
